This was out of a 78 SC. And its a 3 band pesky tapedeck.
$20 is cheap man. It'll look cool.

Did you know Good Guys is going out of business???!! I got a new Sony MP3 stero and MP3 10 disk changer for my wife's 930 for less that $350 for all of it!

and yes, i would have bought an 8 track if i saw one for sale.
I dont think they make ipod adapters for 8 tracks though.
Note: This is until i get a nice period one with the correct faceplate. Its just for tunes for now.
I'm going to use my old Blau radio plate with it, so it wont look so......... 78'.

I'll throw in with the "I think it's cool" camp. I've been keeping an eye out for a cool, '70s stereo for my car, mainly to fill that ragged rectangular hole in the otherwise decent dash, but also to help me to remember a time when classic rock was more than just filler for PBS fund raisers.
A little question : if I do get a stereo to go in the car, do I also need an aditional mounting plate ? Or does the edge of the stereo cover the edges of the dash opening by itself ?
