That plastic plug goes in a hole in the flywheel end of a Type 4 engine case. As I recall, It is located on the passenger side.

How's that?

I, know what it's called, but it plugs the hole up, in the back of some of the cases, inspection hole for the flywheel?

And it's broken, missing 2 tangs.

Oh crap you're right. Oh well didn't need it anyway....haha.

It's not really an inspection hole. It's the hole to access the torque converter bolts on a Type IV with an automatic tranny....

You don't need it......
