that mystery car is definately NOT a pininfarina design ala Lancia!
It appears to be car with BMW M1 mid-engine car styling, maybe a model by PUMA?

It looks to me like a bad kit car that's meant to remind people of a Pantera or an Esprit, without being anything like as attractive as either car. It also has a vague appearance of a Maserati Bora or Merak, but isn't either of those. It's not a Lancia Stratos. Nor is it a Puma:

hard to tell from that picture
seems to be a BMW E3 (2500, 2800, 2.8L, 3.0S, 3.0Si, 3.3L or 3.3Li) - 4 door Sedan, 1968 to 1977

not really - but I know most of the european cars, at least the kind they designed their cars for the last 100 years
from the basic design it didn't look like an american or japaneese car, so I thought of the style from the Puma and VW SP2 and so on - try to transform this to a decade later and it looks like the Farus ...
so I googled for coupe & brazil and came to the solution

Hillman... bastard child at best.
Real British cars have the engine in the front, no roll up windows and intermitent electrical problems (usually when it rains)
