the last days were just perfect autum weather here in my area - clear blue sky, not one single cloud the whole day, a little cold though
when I looked out of my living room on saturday, this is what I saw:

so I decided to take some warm clothes and jump into my teener for a fine trip
for sure the top got stored in the rear trunk, door windows up, scarf on and "run"
every now and then a little stop to enjoy the day and take a picture or two

due to the flat sunlight my digicam had little problems with exposure, but who cares ...
the most fun is driving through steep, narrow and twisty roads

Just the kind of day a 914 was made for. Have you ever climbed to the top of that mountain?

today it was just the same weather, so I took a longer trip
I started a little earlier to do enjoy about 110 miles with lots of ups and downs
because I had no co-pilot I had to take some photos while driving

it's a shame, but no
this is the mountain which belongs to my home village - it's about 8000 ft
I could climb it starting from my door
every year I plan it together with a friend - but it didn't happen yet ...

do you have to have your headlights on at all times?

Looks like a lot of fun. I think you need a co-pilot though...
Thanks for sharing!

unfortunately I wasn't able to take some pics from the following part of this trip
it's a super narrow and super twisty road up to the highes point of my day - about 4,500 ft
every curve followed by another, hardly any straight part, no little place to stop without blocking the road
this is one of my favorite roads in my area, highly amazing ...
at the first little parking on the top of the "hill" I took a little brake
this view is direction Italy

yepp
on the one hand it's law in Austria
on the other hand for safety - twisty, narrow roads + flat sunlight => pretty dangerous

I'd prefere a female one

due to the fact that the following half hour was extreme steep, twisty and narrow it wasn't possible to take photos while driving
this one is in the valley, on my way to the next hill

running up the last hill for today
this is one of my prefered street bike hills too

last one for today
it's pretty close to my home village - just about 20 min
at this point the battery pack of my digicam was empty
(otherwise I would have more cool pics
)
@ admins: sorry for wasting server space, but this was just an amazing tour and I wanted to share my impressions
