This week with SEMA in town, Boyd Coddington has been drinking double Bloody Mary's in the evening. Tonight I had the great pleasure of serving drinks to a 914 VIP.I have had quite a few Club members contact me when they were visiting in Vegas. We have gone out for dinner, drinks and sightseeing. Tonight was the first time one has popped into the Casino while I was working so I could buy them a beer.
Rob Watson (watsonrx13) from Tampa and his new Bride, Robin, came by to visit.
Every time I meet a Club member for the first time it has always been the same. It is like seeing an old high school buddy. There are no awkward moments or shortage of things to talk about. The time seems to fly by and strong bonds are secured.
Rob was a fine example of what we already know. 914 Club members are intelligent and their women are good looking. Rob also demonstrated that Club members are chivalrous. **true story** The bar was rather crowed without any vacant seats. The couple in the closest two stools got up to leave. Another woman made a move towards the empty spot at the same time Rob and Robin did. Rob, being a gentleman, allowed his wife and the red headed hooker drinking a grasshopper
to have the chairs while he remained standing. Rob - It was nice to meet you and Robin. Thanks for the cigar. Sorry I was so busy at work. I wish we could have spent more time talking. Next time give me some advance notice and we can go out for dinner. Have a safe trip home.
