the lower unit locked up on my buddys boat right before sundown. we got towed in and i took the unit off at his house ( about 2k for a rebuilt)

then as i slipped it into 3rd on the way home (on the beginning of a five mile stretch of road that the national park owns , but can't afford to patrol. ) mrs. state trooper busted me. could have been worse. pay it. shut up and go on. first ticket in 24 years. 65 in a 45 in the 911

i get into town and putter 10 over to house and get pulled over again by a local cop that i know. i am like f' me running. tail lights are fading in and out. bad ground and he follows me home. cool.

could be worse. THE POWER COULD BE OUT.
