I have a more or less dedicated auto-x 6 that was assembled by the prior owner. Today, I lost all of the "accessory" power functions-that is directionals (they don't flash but come on) and tach, which are the only things in the car that I think are wired thru the accessory portion of the ign switch-fuel pump is on the run position, and it runs. Start function was moved to a pushbutton a while back when the start contact failed. I should add that the fuel pump runs and the ign works, but I suspect they're not on the same circuit.

To troubleshoot this, I suppose I should just run 12v + to the connector terminal on the ign switch that normally provides power to those functions-does anyone know which color wire on the connector that is?

I suppose I should just eliminate the switch altogether as it is uneeded.

It does sound like the switch is shot. Either replace it, or continue the rewiring.
