I am starting to build an open cockpit track car. I have a Ginther windscreen
which came with it. Has anyone installed one? I need to know the proper
location. Does it cover the complete cowl or mount where the windshield
frame was located?

There is no right or wrong place to mount it. I'll post some pictures for you to see some others, but my pictures are on my home PC.
Some mount it behind the small fresh air grill, some folks cover the grill.

You might check the Gunnar Racing site. They have a Ginther 914 for sale and have several photos of it.

I will check out the pics. I picked this car up from Rich Johnson in Texas. It is a
72 rust free roller with a Nascar type cage. This is going to be a different build for
me. I am used to a concours type resto. I am still up in the air whether to run
a four or six. It is great to hear from you JD.
