On the track, on hard decel, under braking the car was emitting some low tone booms.

What causes this?

Is it running rich and unburned fuel is auto-detonating in the exaust?

For those who know Sears, It happened into 4,7 and 11.

yup, to rich...if its carbs...try one less main jet...if its FI...MPS///btdt
