Greg, You won't go wrong by going to Manhattan in the Desert, a new place on Hwy111 just out side Palm Springs heading towards Palm Desert. It is the first place I go when I get into town and the last place when leaving.
Great food and lots of it.
Also tons of places along Palm Canyon drive in Palm Springs to eat.
If you get to town on the 18,19,20 you can go to Thermal airport for The Revival of the Palm Springs road races, vintage car racing. Same dates, at the Spa Casino, in Palm Springs they are having the McCormicks Classic car auction.

I'll be racing at the HSR-West Palms Springs revival this weekend so stop by and we can go along too. There will be a 356 driver or two that might want to tag along but they're okay. My car is a blue 914, #631 (you can't miss it). Oh yea, it will be mid 80's during the day (cool shirt) and cold at night!

I am looking forward to spending Sunday at HSR. Met Arthur at Firebird last weekend and will look him up as well. Any others going to be there to watch or participate?
