Those came with the "Star Wars Edition" 914.
They came out in '77 with the movie and was a dealer option on left over '76 models.
VERY RARE!!!

Were those really factory options? What are they worth for a set of 4?
Would they still be considered "correct" for a restoration?

I dont think a 165 would fit on a 7" wheel

Those on the front, and a set of Rs on the rear.
Hell yes it'd be ugly, and expensive.

I've just returned from France, and swear they look like the sewer covers in Paris!
Very Art Deco.

When the billet wheel thing was gettin goin ( middle to late 80'S ), that wheel was offered for Vdubs. Not sure of manufacturer, but have the old Vdub mags to check if someone would like?........Dad...

Speaking of interesting wheels... has anyone ever seen a set of
these "Eurostars" on a 914?
It seems to me that they might look out of place... maybe too contemporary for a 30 year old car?

Those look a lot like the wheels on the JLO car.
