Plus, one of the Vipers ran out of gas. Only 9 laps per tank of gas!

Just saw that, they said something about disabling 2 of the cylinders on the Viper, I guess 8 is the max #
It wasn't a # of cylinder issue. It was HP. They ( the Viper guys ) had the choice of disabling two holes or using air restriction for class competition.
The GT1 Corvettes use restrictor plates in the ALMS to keep the HP down around 600 instead of the 800 wide open
