I have a Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel with the Elephant Racing 1.25" spacer on a Momo adapter. The horn button is loose in the wheel because the Elephant spacer has a larger ID than the Momo adapter does. I have seen pictures of a sleeve to correct this problem - where can I buy one?

This thread has some pics of what I think is the sleeve I need.

You could get a PVS elbow and stick that in there and have the horn button at 90 degrees from flat, but it would stay cool.

Seriously though - would it be possible to take a small piece of pvc or abs tubing and make something that would to the job. If you need something thinner, perhaps a piece of electical conduit or copper tubing?

Worst case you could turn up a little aluminum peice in a lathe? Not sure how big/thick it would need to be.

fiid, that would work (no, not the PVC) but the sleeves must be available somewhere. i am just trying to get out of having to make something (no lathe).

i guess i will talk to elephant and see what they recommend.

Ah-ha, the spacer is Smart Racing, not Elephant Racing.

Smart Racing item #721100 seen here (page 3): http://www.smartracingproducts.com/pdfcat/...everspedals.pdf
