my buddy bob casteneda told me about this idea after he saw my 914.

i thought about it and think it's a great idea.

now i'm thinking about crusing around in a black, SBC V8 powered speedster and getting a little wood... biggrin.gif laugh.gif

I don't get it. The whole focus of the article is the engine and yet none of the pix in the article show it...

Anyways...I hate to kill your buzz but the front struts wouldn't fit without a major refab. Plus I think the 914 is wider than a 356 kit, I could measure them if you like.
Pretty sure you would have to cut off the longs to get it on. ohmy.gif

You could do a tube frame with a 914 rear suspension and engine/trans layout but it would still have a bug front end.
