I'm looking to borrow or buy (cheap), a ball joint socket tool for later model 914's.
I don't have an adversion to buying tools, but given the season, i'm going ECONOMICAL

Some FLAPS rent them out for free. You have to put down a deposit but it is free. I think its auto zone or advance auto. Not sure

If you can't get one locally, contact me. Not too many have them I think. I had to have one made. Same for the shock tube nut.

Pipe wrench (with a 3' cheater bar for the ball joint nut)...without for the upper strut thingy

Thanks, Pelican lists them for around $50.00. I haven't talked to them too check availability, as I'm hoping not too buy one yet.... Kevin
