I have a pair of chrome bumpers from a '71 914. Both have some small dents and need re-chroming.
The rubber top pieces are in bad condition.
What value do they have?

Rechroming can run about 250 - 350 a piece so that will knock the price down significantly.

Maybe to $75 - $125 each for the cores depending on the dents and how straight they are.

That's with out the rubber bits.


That's my guess based on rechroming of my bumpers lately.

If your rear bumper is the rare straight notch for the license plate then it's worth more. Might fall into the '71 year don't know.
