Does any one know how to get the color (apricot, amber) out of the turn signal and marker lenses? I have been told a number of different chemicals. thanks

I have heard that one before. but also, simple green and acetone. although acetone sounds like it could damage the lense itself.
thanks

there was a post on this a while ago... one person was able to do it, because it was a euro lense, and supposedly the color was not made into the plastic, and the USA lenses were....therefor, they would not fade..... I'll try to find the link

Yup... . Only the Euro "front" lenses can be leached. They were clear for the bottom parking light section with the top section died amber.
Rears can't be done.
There was someone in the resource section making clear lenses I believe...

Maybe this would explain why you see some cars with tail lights that look almost pink sometimes (I'm thinking like older toyota trucks and old BMW's).

White toothpaste is an excellent polish for lenses.
