Just thought you might all like to see a sneak preview of Aaron's car after the paint shop. I will only post one as he should really be the one bragging. It came out nice, at least what we could see of it in the dark last night. Smooth and all black.

I was told 2 weeks before you can wash it with soap and water..........
A-aron Admin doesn't have to worry, he uses his soap in other ways

I do believe it needs to cure...
Taking auto body painting now....
one day is my thought.
Looks awesome!!!
Are you sure you want them to cut and buff it? You'll get a much stronger paint job, and you wont have to wax it as much if you dont.... Im not going to cut and buff mine... yet, im also going single stage.
Sick stuff man! Quick turn around I must add....

Damm, I am sorry I missed seeing it last night. My class did go well though so that is some consolation. Did you get any picts at Los Ponchos by any chance? I think the way that place looks would really surprise everyone when they see the work they do.

Im going to be spraying mine, and I cant wait!!
Single stage.. unfortunately.. I would like to do a 2 stage paint. but they dont make it in phoenix red.. lol Might do a color match though..
This monday I cut and buff a fender for my auto paint class... Was pretty cool!! Loved seeing the diff.. My teach said he was going to use it as an example of a nice lay down of paint and clear, with the comparison for a cut and buff. ( I only cut and buffed 1/2 of the fender, as told)
Cant wait to see it in person!!!

Andyrew, you should be able to get something that looks exactly like Phoenix Red in a two stage. And from what I've seen, even if you go in to a paint shop with a paint code that paint code is a translation from the original brand. Each brand has slightly different tints, so your code for Pheonix Red really isn't as "original" as you might think. Soooooo, if you want two stage, get two stage.
