actually John, funny you mention that....

people in KY don't have clocks...

we lick our finger and stick it up into the air....

if the sun hits the finger and teh saliva eventually dries...it's around noon.
if the sun doesnt evaporate the saliva...it's after 5pm
and if i cant see my hand....its nighttime

thats how we do it, believe it or not.

so the 12:30pm thing was just an attempt at trying to fake being a "real city folk" person.
