I am starting to remove trim from my car (76) to start prepping for paint and minor body dings, is there a source or doc for the proper way to remove Windshield/Sail panel trim ?, I don't want to damage this trim.

Thanks

Sailpanel trim you remove a really rusty nut from underneath in the fender well. Kinda carefully lift them off.

Dunno about the windshield trim as the windshield guys did that after agreeing if they eff'd it they bought new.

My windshield trim was also removed by the windshield guys, maybe I will just drop by there and see if they can show me or just do it for a few bucks. I would like to replace the trim with a windshield seal like on newer cars, I saw a 914 that had this done. Do you know if this is possible ?
