Picked these up last week on the SCCA forums board. They are ROH wheels and are boxster fitment (17x7.5" front and 17x8.5" rears). Looks like I'm going to need some spacers.

For you guys here running boxster wheels - what width spacers are you running (if any at all)??

Tight in the front...

...and the rear.

I won a auction on Ebay for the same type wheels a couple of weeks ago. Mine are for a early offset 944. Plan to put them on a silver 914.

Purdy.
I would try to obtain 5" of back space and see where the wheels sit.

I'm in the process for 7x16 Boxster wheels. Haven't measured them yet.

For the rear anyway, the proper offset for centering the wheel/tire between
the inner and outer fender (with any wheel width) is roughly 36mm. Boxster
7x16 have an offset of 40mm. What is the offset of the 7.5 and 8.5x17? If
much more than 36 you will need spacers. Offset on any of the boxster wheel
sets is different front and rear if I recall.

until you install tires or know what size you want/need to run, the size of spacers will be difficult.

On the rear are your fenders already pulled/flared?

if not, get ready to repaint the rear qtr panels smash.gif

Yeah - the rear fenders have a subtle flare to them with the inner lips rolled. I think they will fit - but I'm limited to not much more than 1/2" to 3/4" that I can space them from the hub before they will foul the inner edge of the rear fenders.

We'll see if I can make 'em fit!

Boxster 17's require 1inch spacing up front on 7's. so I would assume 1 inches in the fronts and 1" in the back....

I got a lot more than that though.. lol
Andyrew
That was for non flared car... mine takes um....

more than 1inch in the back... I dont have the numbers right now..
