does any one know of or make an adjustable horizontal link for a stock sway bar. Looks like the stock link with the extra holes. I have seen them with ~4-5 different mounting holes to allow adjusting sway bar stiffness. I believe they look like a 914-6GT setup?
Thanks smile.gif

Which bar do you want to run on the track car.

the stock bar looks wimpy to me cool_shades.gif

I guess they all do, compared to my 31mm w00t.gif

Bigger is not always better!

I am well aware of the bars that are available....I want to make a stock bar work with my set up for various reasons.

I have had aftermarket bars in the past and I want to try something different this time.

Any help you can give me along those lines will be appreciated.

If it does not work out then you can all laugh at me then. unsure.gif

PS: the adjustable drop links for the stock bar have been NLA for quite some time now. i have only seen 2 sets (in person) ...

If you want to use the stock bar and get some ajustabilty, make your own lever arms out of some fairly heavy stock. Drill the holes to your liking.

I just thought the lever arms in the pics looked like they could be bent in the bare hand. ( and bar over my knee )

Why I would do that, I can't explain. laugh.gif

thanks Trek,
I will probably try to fab up some of my own or find some welt take offs to use with the bar I have.

If all else fails you can all have a good laugh on me. laugh.gif

Maybe I will even end with that redwood tree you call a sway bar. wink.gif

The Smart bar is just so stout.

It's the only part of Scott's race car front suspension that didn't get bent or broken up in his wreck at Sear's.

Plus, the winners of the 25 hour use one smilie_pokal.gif

How about something like this...

James those look neat. They look a little weak from the picture, but the idea is awesome. biggrin.gif
