Get a pair of Dr. Evil's Door Panels... Glue some vinyl to them, bolt 'em up. Roll the window down to close the door. There's your CSOB solution AAron.

half basket weave 914/ half 911 style.The door pull is a simple VW Beetle re-covered in German black vinyl. Local guy here in the valley does a pair for a couple of benjamins with new balsa wood backs.

Lame pic but I had these made locally -- just smooth vinyl that is a close match to the dash covering. I never got around to installing a handle or pull tab.

Here's my superlight and supercheap "Home Depot" style panels.

It's actually the "Oh Sh!t" handle...and I've redone them since then to remove the waving in the upper vinyl.
