Brian frenz gave me the coleman collars.....
Mueller gave me the Spring hats from coleman....

and afco sent me some springs....

its all together now smile.gif

my blog has it all...but

they are your basic 2.5" ID x 8" springs.
ebay search 2.5" ID spring.....

thats what i figured, just didn't know if they were anything different than the norm.

on the spring hat (top), is there a pin used to retain it on the shaft???

Not so mucha pin, but like a big paper clip looking thing. And you dont really need it

Also wire the springs to the hats.. through those other holes... keeps the springs in the proper place when you lower the car after having it in the air

so the pin isnt needed? cool!

yea, I kept the "safety pins" smile.gif

those are designed to make spring changes quicker....loosen the spring, remove pin, slide off the upper hat, remove spring, reinstall new spring, the hat and there you go...you could put a long bolt thru there if you find that the spring has no tension with the car raised and some odd chance the hat/spring tries to slip off the shock shaft.....but you shouldn't really have to worry
