does anybody here know more about the factory 914-6 GT
914.0.43.1732

it's the first factory GT that was raced officially
it's the only factory GT with thin body parts
original colour: signal orange
first license plate: S X 7495 (date of registration: 27. April 1970)

it started at the 19th RAC Rallye, Great Britain (13.-18. November 1970)
driver: Claude Haldi (Swizerland)
co-driver: John Gretener (Swizerland)
result: overall - 12th / Gr.4 - 5th

C. Haldi had handling problems and damaged the car heavily:

after the RAC Rallye, the GT was sold (unrepaired) to Mr. Rolf Goering, a Porsche 911 driver rom the well known Max Moritz Racing Team
he restored the car and painted it conda green - the "Max Moritz colour"

from now on we know nothing more about the history of this car
is it still alive?
were is it?
who owns it?
in which country is it currently?
in which condition?

here's a pic after the restoration + repaint from 1971:

The only thing I have that you did not list is the Project # 914/45

I take it that this car is not the "Max Moritz GT" that we've seen in a number of places, then? If it is, I've seen it a few times and there have been several magazine articles on it in the last couple of years.

Dave, I believe you are thinking of 9140430691 the Max Moritz, Quist/Krumm, Ralph Meaney car.

Yup, that was what I was thinking of. Which means I can't help at all on the real answer.
