Just received my Feb '06 copy of Excellence. Wonderful article about 'Orange Rush', a '74 914-4 2.7l. Thanks again Excellence for recognizing the 914 as a true Porsche.

Our cars are finally getting some air time.

So what is so special about it? I read on the fine Excellance website that has a 2.7 -4 in it, but no pics.

OK, so they want you to buy the mag instead of reading it for free on line. I get it.

I too have an orange rush in the bag and wanting to get out. Missed the end of 05 deadline that the shop set. Maybe end of 06.

I'm told to expect an Excellence article on this car in the spring. It will blow you away. I'll save my story on how close I was to greatness until publication.

Mr. Chambers is right...and there's gonna be a little (early) April fools in the same issue for all you 914 peeps, too.

Now, back to all those 911 stories. Gotta keep the troops fed.
