Hands down: Google wins for me.

Yahoo. By number of hits on my commercial site, Yahoo placement still more important than Google. And I like the Yahoo start page.

I think Google is better in a lot of ways, but their search rankings are swayed by 'sponsored' sites.

If I can't find something instantly on Goooooooooogle...
