Maybe someone can help me with my related problem. My Internet Explorer has become hijacked with some sort of porn popup. If I do a search in google, and click on one of the results, it takes me to this sicko incest graphic porn site. The browser is nearly unusable. I am running XP service pack 2, and I run both Ad-Aware and Spybot, but they never can remove the problem. I have had to switch to Firefox, because the problem is so bad.

If you have a valid and activated Windows XP copy, may I suggest downloading Microsoft AntiSpyware from the microsoft website.

It's done wonders for me.

Microsoft's Antispyware has a browser hijack repair under Advanced Tools. You might try that. Spyware Blaster has some IE settings also.

I use FireFox and like it a lot.

there is another more complete way to run Ad-aware/spybot:
First make sure you have the latest update and the administrator password (if you are using a domain to log on)
then reboot your PC into safe mode by pressing F8 when the XP first slpash screen appears.
Run your spyware killer from here.
So much time is wasted cleaning these days that it is maddening!

If you are running Spybot S&D then you should really check these boxes! The hijacker can still get in but it can't change your browser stuff!
