I have too many toys,
The 74 914 2.0 (bone stock) has sat for way too long. Rear caliper puked, and lost all the brake fluid. Been months since I started the car.
Put the charger on the battery last night. Went down this PM, turned the key, and ka-boom, about 3 turns of the starter and this thing is idling like a mutha.
Would be very hard to convince me to go to carbs

my L-jet is the same. Now that I worked out the kinks, I just go outside and start it and its idling in no time.
with carbs i had to pump the pedal etc etc, and then it would run rich and lean at the same time till it got warm.

I know what you mean, my MOTRONIC does just that, turn the key and it starts. Come to think of it, my K-Jet and D-Jet do that too....
I like fuel injection.
