I spilt some Gasoline in the Garage that is attached to the house and need to get rid of the smell.
It smells really bad I think some of the Gasoline soaked into a wooden step. I tried some Laundry soap and water and the Garage doors have been open all day but no luck. Anyone have any ideas or solutions to get rid of the smell icon8.gif icon8.gif icon8.gif

the VOCs are pretty unstable...

just give it a couple of days.

sunlight accelerates the break-down of the compounds.

I would be careful using anything other than water on gas. I too lost half a tank on my garage floor, and in time the odor will go away. I just took a garden hose and flushed the heck out of it. I was lucky in the fact I have a detached garage. Eddy

Have a fan running in there to blow the fumes out. It takes quite a while.
