If I understand gears right, the "ratio" is how many teeth per each?

So for example.. According to his chart posted, a gear set with one gear having 29 teeth, and the other having 22 teeth would have a ratio of 29:22 or thus from his chart being a ZA gearset.

some of the gearsets dont exist.... like un named......

im guessing some of them are 915 gears....

ive never seen a T 901....

I know there is such thing as a T
I think its one of those race only gears that you don't see often... similar to a J or W

Here is some info that may help.

The stock 914 901 is setup is:
1 A 11:34 3.09
2 G 18:34 1.89
3 N 23:29 1.26
4 V 27:25 0.93
5 ZD 31:22 0.71

The budget setup for autocross & short courses is to flip the ZD to make a KA for third; move the V 4th to 5th and find a Q for your new 4th.

1 A 11:34 3.09
2 G 18:34 1.89
3 KA 22:31 1.41
4 Q 24:27 1.13
5 V 27:25 0.93

Another popular short gearbox with a higher topend for longer tracks than the 'budget' setup is the MSX setup

1 A 11:34 3.09
2 G 18:34 1.89
3 M 22:29 1.32
4 S 25:26 1.04
5 X 28:24 0.86

Here is the chart for 901 and the 915 gearsets. Hope this helps!
