Full Version: Another AC question

I was planning to mount my AC condenser to a GT style engine lid. The thought occured to me that the condenser condenses gas to liquid, and perhaps it won't work right if it's mounted horizontally. Any AC experts out there care to comment? Anyone ever seen a car with a horizontal condenser? The expansion valve is likely to be at the front near the evaporator, so maybe the long high pressure line to the front will allow any bubbles to condense out? Am I worrying about nothing? Is AC for whimps? biggrin.gif

All teeners and elebens with trunk mount condensors are horizontal...that may tell you something.
