For those who have converted to 6-cyl (2.2, 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.2) did you keep the heat when you converted?

I am wondering whether to keep the heat or cut out those heater mufflers and fabricate some "roll bars" to add some chassis stiffness.

I have been shopping for a 3.0 or 3.2 conversion for the past few months.
Of the dozen I checked on, I have yet to look at a car that still had heat.

I'm running factory heat exchangers on my 3.2.
The heat exchangers were not in concours condition so the PO gave them to me for free.
If I had to buy them I would probably live without heat especially if I still lived in AZ.

no need to cut out the heater mufflers.
a roll-bar/cage can fit without eliminating the heat route.

it's been done several times around here ...
