Andy's post about the Aluminum floor boards got me to thinking about e-mailing that 9xAuto company that sells tons of stuff on eBay with claims of HP increases.
This is how the conversation went:
Me:
Hello,
I saw your ad on Ebay for these air cleaner assemblies. Have you run dyno tests to get the HP gains?
Thanks,
Mike
Them:
This is a more efficient filter system replacement. What dyno are talking about?
Me:
I wanted to know if the numbers listed on eBay for HP gain are "real" or "made-up"?
The only way to properly test is on a Dynamometer.
Thanks,
Mike

you should do your research on K&N site. There you will find a full explanation for this technology, and the benefit to the overall performance.
hmmmm, I guess I start doing the same when a prospective customer asks me a question....
