I have a set of RSR style headers that came off of my 911 3.6 (Fritz). I can't find my digital calipers, but when I measure the I.D. of them they read 1 1/2 inches with a tape measure. Eyeballing the O.D. looks like 1 5/8 inches.

Does this sound right?

Would they be called 1 5/8" headers or 1 1/2" headers? I'm going to put them up for sale in the next few days to start clearing more parts out of the garage, so I want to advertise them correctly on the bird board and other tail dragger bbs.

I *think* you measure headers by their outside dimension
But why not just describe 'em as you did here...
