Full Version: some thoughts about the car guessing game

well, it seems that I'm guilty ... I brought this kind of game over to this board
now I wonder about the kind you play it

what I mean is, that there are about 5 (or more) different threads where everyone starts a new quiz
this is a little confusing IMHO

at the german forum there is a minimum of rules, but they make it more arranged:

one person started with the quiz
the person who found out the correct solution at first is up for the next quiz
it's on the person who started a quiz to confirm the correct solution - the game goes on after the confirmation

no prototype cars are allowed
no unique cars are allowed
no custom built cars are allowed

it's allowed to retouche license plates or brand crests

what do you think about this rules idea.gif

SLITS
It's my fault....I started one for you, but it went beserk...

I all for the rules.

But it is such a fun game and for old retired people like Howie...it gives them something to look forward to besides their daily bowel movement.

Its all your fault dry.gif laugh.gif

I too think we should play by your German forum rules, it makes it much simpler and less confusing, and probably more entertaining because all of the cars actually get solved.
Hybrid_Teener
Hmph. I like there being several threads. Gives me a chance to guess at them all =D

Sorry, I was in the shitter. Did I miss anything?
tat2dphreak
if it kept on with 10 threads a day, it may get it's own 'sandbox' wink.gif

I vote for the rules, wink.gif but if you step away from the game to use the head bring your own paper. huh.gif I won't pass you a square.. laugh.gif

Leave it to zee Germans to make rulez for zis game. lol2.gif

Rules are good.

Someone needs to make the definitive thread on guesssing games.

BTW at this point no one has yet to guess my last one. HAH biggrin.gif

NOPE biggrin.gif

I'll admit it is a pretty hard one but certainly not a low run production car. Actually was very popular.

Little hint... the last year it was made was the first year that one of my cars was made.
Gustl
so it was built till 1960 idea.gif

my guess would be that's an english/british car ...

confused24.gif Gustl
tdgray
Close. Not British.

I should have clarified. The last year this car was made was the first year in which the MODEL of a car I own was made. Not my exact car.

Gustl
then it should be a car that was built till 1955, correct?

is it an australien car? it's RHD

idea.gif Gustl
tdgray
Nope not Aussie.

Think EURO. cool_shades.gif

And acutally the car was phased out in 55 but sold / assembled for one or two more years (depending on the source of info).

EDITED

Oops looks like I got some bad info from one of my car club members. This company did go out of business in 1957. Sorry for the confusion.
