looking for the part# for mercedes 23 mm master brake cylinder

the 19 mm is too small for my brake setup

A 19mm should be fine. Have you tried the 19mm? You would need the 23mm for 930 brakes, Big Reds with something big in the rear, a full Boxster Monobloc setup.

Monoblocs and Ms should be perfect with a 19mm.

If you are having issue, there might still be air in the system.

Wht about the proportioning valve? S till there? Or did you replace it with something else... a brake-T or an adjustable proportioning/brake bias valve?

Brake lines? Do you still have the rubber lines, or are they replaced with stainless lines?

Oh... and Smart Racing Products has the whole 23mm kit for $110 or something... MC, elbows, longer actuating rod, etc.

that seems like a very front heavy system to me.

have all stainless brake lines , no brake bias,and bleeded the system with a power bleeder still have spoongy pedal i have too push the pedal about 3-4 inch for a solid feel

If you pump the brakes 3 or 4 times do you get a hard pedal?
If so, bleed some more. If you replaced all that, it takes a loooooong time to get all the air out.

If you still have a "spongy" feeling several things...

1. Air is still in the sytem. Bleed more.

2. The pads may have not bedded themselves in yet.

3. There could be air in the master cylinder if it was new/dry before

4. Bleed some more.

Are the pads new? How much space do you have between the pads and the disc?

If space is too far (used pads or disc too thin) you might be running out of "reach" with the M/C.

Spacers can be placed between the pads and the pistons of the calipers to correct this sometimes.

Also, is the M/C new? I've seen brand new M/C's fail right out of the box.
