Thinking about a new set of stock tires...prefer Dunlops, just like original 914 equipment but I have found nothing available anywhere. Well thats not completely true. I found a vintage tire place that supplies 165HR15s in a Michelin XAS pattern, but they reqire tubes and are ~$200 a corner, before installation. Ugh.
If I bump the size to 195/60s there is plenty to choose from, but nothing in the stock 165HR15 size. I realize that is an obsolete tire sizing system.
Do you know of any sources other than looking for 30 year old used tires?
