Does anyone know that the resistance values are on the stock fuel sending unit? Getting ready to put a cell in my 6 conversion and would like the stock gauge to work. Thanks for your help. Wells

This has been covered fairly recently; I believe a standard VW Bug-range gauge works just fine. Something like 0-90 ohms.

I would hook up the low fuel light to a light on the dash somewhere as well.

This reminds me of an issue I've had since the Patrick cell was installed - gauge won't read much over 1/4 or 3/8 tank even when the (nearly stock capacity) cell is near full. The idiot light still works when it is close to empty. The sender and gauge are the same ones that were in the car before with the stock gas tank and worked fine. Any thoughts on what would cause this behavior?
