i need to design a new website for myself. need something easier than the adobe golive that I used last go around.
how are the coffee cup apps? they have the visual designer and gallery designer modules that look pretty straightforward and not too $$$.
i need to make my own design, etc and need to make galleries and update them quickly.

between flash, java and CSS you have a pretty good pallette of selections to "paint" your site.

That is true, linux makes you use vim when doing html. When
did they change vi anyways? I still just call it vi because all the
commands are the same.

I use coffeecup HTML. Easy to use and works well. I only do the most basic of web design so I don't know anything about more advanced features.

I used to use pico.
But now I use Dream Weaver. IMHO it is much better and easier to use then Adobe GoLive. Its quite nifty.

I just remember vi always looked one way nobody what kind
of file you opened up. Then one day ( I don't remember when)
if you type "vi filename.html" and it is not the vi I remember.
I know have to type "vim filename.html"
