I hit the base of my nail with a hammer when I was putting up my fascia board. It didn't turn black until the bruised nail bed grew out. Man, that sucker hurt like a SOB.

I used to lose toenails a lot when I ran track and cross country. While running down hills the foot rams into the shoe interior and forces the nail bed bed up.....

This year they really short on Soccer refs and I did close to 50 games....5-6 a day in some cases.....3 months later...still growing out....

I need to keep my toe nails short so I can do this....

the 951 space saver rim is alloy dont cha know..

saw a set on a 356 and thought it would be cool to have a set of them with higher profile (not 50 series) moderate weather performance tires on them.
