without braking it open, depending on the year, good headers, slightly modified intake, modified chip, just barely north of 300 hp ...
we'll see how the 901 is going to hold up ...

Hey Mikey..
Make sure you don't forget any of the pieces when you crate it up to ship it to me....
I will ship the 2.4 back when that one arrives.

I have a 2.4 in my garage awaiting sale or a rebuild....so no deal.
The 3.6 is in an 80s 911...even though it looks like a 73.....since it needs to pass smog, a partner and I developed a dual prgram chip. Stock and performance can change with a flick of the switch.....without having to pull the brain and put in another chip.
Easy pass on the smog....the chip gives 17-18hp gain with a loss of about 1 mpg.

Why would you want to put a 3.6 in a TAILDRAGGER???
"You talk crazy talk!"

Yeah I know...I needed a four seater for the kids.....
For more HP...cams and then it GETS REAL expensive....it's already dual plug...so unless compression, displacement or a turbo is added a 3.6 was about as big NA with air coolng that Porsche wanted to go.
Then the FEDS started talking about noise and other stuff.....that's about when Porsche decided to go water cooled.
