Just curious what I should save, I'm hoping that the 5 lug setup can be used, maybe the axels.
Anything else I might be overlooking?
Thanks

Don't think you will find to much that is worth keeping. Maybe the money when you are done selling the 924S.

I think the blinker/wiper switch fits (search for the other thread)
If so, it will enable you to have electric washer.

But the Front suspension will fit a 74 and later Super Beetle.

I'd be interested in the wiper switch, when you get to parting it out.

Joe is correct. Theres several guys running the aluminum arms from 944/924S on their street manx. I dont know if the 924 S spindles work on the super struts.

We had a rail buggy guy that built front uprights for his a arms using super beelte spindle as they bolt to the strut. He told me regular 924 spindles also worked in place of these. I used to have 3 924s but decided to sell them together instead of parting them out. I did however grab the steering rack out of the parts car. Its about the right width for my a arm rail front end that I was building before I sold it. If its a power rack thats any good you should be able to sell it. I'd save the cv joints/axles/and stub axles as well. The dune buggy crowd will want those.

So, is it 944 trailing arms that fit??
I have seen them, and its basically a bolt in, not quite, but not to much modification is needed.
Please tell me which trailing arm it is...I forget...its one of them, maybe a specific year...

And what year struts did you swap in? 924S is 1986/1987, and an entirely different animal from the 924. The Cap'n

Keep the pump from the washer bottle as well
You could also keep the transmission, with a little (read lot) work you could adapt it to fit a teener. I have seen 1 back in Australia with a 924s/944 transmission in it..... I'll try and find some photo's of the install...
Other Potentials:
Gauges
Wheels
Steering Wheel
Calipers / Disks - Could be wrong but same size as SC (I know 924 Turbo is)
Just my thoughts....
