A Friend at work is bringing in his wheels for me to sell. They are off his 930. They are the BBS gold center basket weave. Ill post sizes and photos when I get them. About what are they worth? Any intrest here. I know you need to see them first but figure you would know what they are.

I'm thinking more like these, which would look good on a dark green flared 914

Looks like they may be the old style fine spoke BBS wheels. The current trend, even in the mesh spoke style is to larger spokes and more open area.
To me a draw back to the BBS style has always been cleaning. I hate washing and waxing wheels with corners, crevaces, sharp edges, etc. It can be such a pain. An open spoke wheel with clean smooth lines is so much easier.
But when clean and shiny, they do look nice.

I bet that they are 9x15 fronts and 11x15 rears.
I have those size GOTTI's on my 930. They don't make the 345/35 tires for those rims any more.
I have one of the last sets of tires that I know of on my car right now. When they are gone, I'll have to buy new wheels.
These were the big thing in the mid to late 80's......

Just wondering why cann't you take the back half of the rear and put it on the fronts and the back of the front and put it on the rear. That way you would narrow the rears and widen the fronts. Because the fronts are not as wide on the outer half as the rear wheels you would just gain on the back. I would think you would end up with a pair of 15X9 or so

yep, those sizes are going by the wayside.
i have the same setup only in gotti's and can't get good street rubber in those wide 15" size. =-(
EASY has some BBS and Gotti 15"ers and they are both selling them cheap. I payed too much for mine, unfortunately.
Still looking for some alloy 17"ers.
