Got an e-mail from my mechanic today.
Machine shop is finally done with my parts.
Got the cases today with case savers installed. Heads get delivered on Monday.
Looks like I'll have a car to take to the swap meet next weekend.

Will your parts be in boxes, engine on a pallet and the roller on a trailer too?

I don't know about the pics. My mechanic only takes a couple at a time.
I'll see what I can do.

That yello car IIRC has only about 70k or 80k original miles on it. It was leaking so the guy brought it in and told Don to tear it completely down and re-seal the motor.
He said when he got it apart the inside looked like new.

Wierd coincidence. Was by there today. Having Don dial in the IDAs on my -6 and get her to driving status. Says he's been very busy - now I know why, hehe.

I wanna use them to plug the air injector ports on the heads. 10mm x 1.0.

The REAL, and only safe way, is to use real plugs with real copper washers. Those valve adjuster screws are likely to just fall out while you're driving, as they have no surface to tighten against. The Cap'n, the "anti-mickey mouse".

7R case just means it is a 2.7 Magnesium case. If it is shuffle pinned and case savered then it is pretty good.
Most racers like to build on Aluminum cases as they don't leak as much.
Mag cases are hard to get sealed and stay sealed for a very long time.
Nice to see you are making some progress.

No rain homey, 7R is good magnesium case. It will be fine.

I wonder how it will sound when it is running some day<_<
