I have engine tin that came with parts cars. So what is the difference between 1.7 VS 2.0? I will post a picture of what I got in the AM the @!$@#$@! battery in the @!#@**^%$ camera needs to be recharged. dry.gif slap.gif mad.gif

spark plug location.

1.7/8 are almost vertical....

2.0 go in at a shallow angle... a pain to get to sometimes

The right and left large pieces that cover the cylinders and heads are different in that they have the spark plug holes located differently to accomodate the head changes....


also, related to the side shifter versus tail shifter, one of the bottom pieces of tin is different. Its the very most bottom one that bolts onto the heater boxes and heat exchangers. The later side shift one, has an area shapped in to allow the shift rod to still fit by it. This one is specific to the 73-74 exhaust system and if your running a 75 style exhaust I imagine you could use that one.
