Next time I post pics it will be a lot lower and new alignment for the track.
Also the Fuchs with R tires will be mounted

Was cruising down Camden in San Jose this afternoon, and low and behold another teener. Yellow '75 or '76 very nice. Gave me the thumbs up on my car. Thanks
He had a 914club sticker on the back window so I am sure he will see this. Yet another 914 found in Almaden Valley. biggrin.gif
Trekkor
Thanks for showing the pics.

Looks really good.

Allan
That is really nice.

I hope mine looks that good when I'm done.

Just a different color.
DanT
thanks Trekkor,

Meant to mention that the headers are all buttoned up and sound great. Even with the quite muffler. Much deeper, throatier sound. I just love it!
Thanks to Randal for the headers. smilie_pokal.gif

Hi Dan - that was me; loved your car! It looked way more orange than I imagined. Taking Ol'Yeller out for its last spin under my ownership; new owner is picking it up next weekend. Looking for a good platform for my Suby conversion.

Last I heard, Bill P was still in mid-V8 swap. His four is sitting in my car, so unless he had Doris in the engine bay pushing the car, it probably wasn't Bill...
grantsfo
Dan, I really like what you have done with your car.
DanT
Tom,
Well, we kinda met? wink.gif

I knew it wasn't Bill P. I am very good friends with he and Doris. Plus JLO has big flares and early bumpers. Instructed both of them in the now, neo914-6.

Nice car Tom, so that is the one you sold.

Thanks for the positive comments.
Looking forward to Sunday and Monday for suspension install

ohmy.gif

Off to Sears to instruct all day tomorrow.
Should be a full day of riding around with newbies. ohmy.gif huh.gif
DanT
forgot to post this last one for now

I know you all must be getting tired of "Orange Julius"

No more squirters, warts, sail panel vinyl or trim, no antennae.

Love the smooth look of the top too.
tat2dphreak
smilie_pokal.gif that looks awesome!
Andyrew
Love it!!

Very very nice!
DanT
and now for some more stuff.
The magical mythical Mueller Billet front hubs.
Along with some M calipers and SC vented rotors.

The Flowmaster does sound good Dan.

Your car is just looking pretty!

I forgot to ask when the oil cooler is being installled?

DanT
Once I get all the suspension done then it is on to the oil cooler, sandwich adapter, oil lines, and tuna can.
ohmy.gif

That should just about do it...then over to the shop to get alignment done. smilie_pokal.gif

Finish my plates and attachment points for my tow bar setup.

Then it will be ready for the next event...maybe CDS at Buttonwillow for a shakedown cruise before the next TT. wink.gif
DanT
Some take off parts just departed my place.
Bye Bye to the SSIs and Bursch muffler. biggrin.gif
Erik (midtowner) will have some heat soon.
Thanks Erik.

Next to go should be the Weltmeister Harness Bar....spoken for so far.

Now maybe I can start emptying the garage out instead of filling it up with 914 stuff.

there will be a boat load of other stuff in the near future. From some interior pieces, to a CD player, amp, speakers, rear console and padded top to console, driver and passenger seats, front calipers, dust shields, hub/rotors with bearings.
Rear Boge shocks, 100# stock height springs, 140# lowered springs, front Fichtell-Sachs shock inserts. Fog light grills, fog lights, center caps for 8 spoke or riviera wheels. Warts, and other stuff.
All will be listed in the next week or so.
