All the 73's I have seen came with the sound pad. Maybe they added them in 72? I don't know. Anybody?

I've seen one 72 with a pad. I don't know if it got added in or if it came with the car...
They're getting pretty old now and tend to fall apart...

i don't think my 70 even ever had the metal clips to hold them in ...

The reaon I ask is this car does not have one and it has a sticker in the area of the pad that looks original

hmmm, om my car that sticker is on top of the fan housing ON the engine ...

On my 74 that sticker is on the inner fender in the engine bay behind the relay board

My '71 has no backpad and has that sticker in the same spot on the firewall.
