Hmmm, I've got lots of ideas.
Get the seats and back pad recovered,
lower the front and install a bump steer kit,
pull the engine and clean it up and paint the tin, maybe rebuild the tranny,
re-carpet the front trunk,
fix the trunk and targa seals,
install a stereo (MP3 player and speakers)
maybe rebuild the door panels

and probably many other things that I'll think of. This is all dependant on time and money, of course. I'm sure my girlfriend would rather me doing house renovations instead, but there's plenty of Mikey to go around!

all new front suspension - RSR big-brake Bilstein struts so i can use my aluminum 'S' calipers, 23mm master cylinder, Mueller's A-Arm needle-bearings, new ball joints, big hollow torsion bars, big hollow antiroll bar (like most 911E's, mine has none ...).

all new rear suspension - monoball trailing arm bearings, aluminum bananas, big hollow torsion bars, bit hollow antiroll bars, Bilstein dampers.

POR all the floorboard rust.

the uprated brake lines and disks, new pedal bushings, motor mounts, and replacement speedo cable should be done this weekend.

the Targa top i'll send out for overhaul - a man's gotta know his limitations...

Oh, I love Florida!
There's more going on in the next few months than the summer. Now I get to drive it. smilie_flagge24.gif

i went to Hershey last year, kinda disappointing turnout what with the rain and all...
i'd be there next year except it's the same weekend as the RennSport Reunion in Daytona; can't miss that...

I'll be lurking here. Asking those who live in more temperate climates to post pictures of their cars near palm trees and with girls. And thinking of getting on a plane to go somewhere. smile.gif

Unless I find a garage to rent, as the Impalla won't be finished this year and it has taken over both bays in my current garage.

I am seriously going to look into making a 914 pickup
ala Troutman. To start with, I know enough about cars
to change oil & rotate tires and that's it. But I like the
idea of a 914 pickup. So the research begins......
and of course I have to convince the wife that it's a
good idea blink.gif
