no ODO, what might be the problem?

My '73 had the same problem one day it did not register miles. I pulled it out (speedo) and found the worm gear part (pin for it) needed to be reset and crimped. It is fairly straight forward, but getting the trim bezel off takes some time and patience to not bend it up too much. Hope this helps.
